Family Promise helps homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence through a network of community resources. They work with local churches to provide dinners and household supplies. VCDC will be providing dinners for residents from Sunday, March 22nd through Saturday, March 28th. We plan the menu for each day and purchase all the food, but we need your help preparing the meals each day from 3-5pm in the VCDC Kitchen under the direction of our meal coordinators. This is a great way to serve those in need and to build friendships within the church. We are also looking for individuals to arrive at VCDC at 12:15pm on Sunday and 4:30-5pm, Monday-Friday to pick up the meals and deliver to Family Promise located in downtown Delaware.
